Adult Intensive Outpatient Addiction Treatment & Recovery
Recovering from drug or alcohol addiction looks different for each person. Our programs offer different levels of care depending on your needs. One of those levels is an intensive outpatient program, sometimes called IOP for short.
IOP offers a higher level of support than individual outpatient counseling, without requiring inpatient care. Often, IOP is recommended as the next step after detox or inpatient care (sometimes called drug or alcohol rehab). Services in IOP are typically several hours per day, with a minimum of four days per week. However, we tailor your treatment plan and schedule to your unique needs.
In IOP, we offer:
- Individual and group counseling
- Peer recovery mentoring from someone who has a similar lived experience
- Sober outings with recovery mentors
- Integrated mental health services with our Child & Family Outpatient Mental Health team, if needed
- Child care when caregivers are in treatment sessions
You may work with many different members of our team while in treatment:
- Addictions counselors
- Peer mentors
- Mental health therapists
- Care coordinators
