Enhanced Adult Mental Health Services (EAMHS)
Complex mental health conditions can have additional needs. Adults diagnosed with a Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI), such as bipolar disorder or schizophrenia, benefit from additional services through our Enhanced Adult Mental Health Services (EAMHS) program. Services are available at our five outpatient locations across the Portland area.
Being a human is hard and being able to use my own humanity to connect with others and be the conduit of their change and growth is an absolute honor.
Specialists in the program use a team-based approach to support client needs. We can coordinate care in our clinic, at home, with another provider, or anywhere clients feel safe and ready to accept services.
Our team includes mental health therapists, employment and education support specialists, psychiatric prescribers, therapy interns, care coordinators, nurses, peer specialists, and case managers.
Our program can help with:
- Mental health counseling
- Medication management
- Finding services and coordinating care
- Integrated primary care services
- Group classes and skills building
- Accessing basic needs, such as food or housing
- Employment and education support
Clients in our program have up to weekly appointments with one member of the core team or other specialists, such as Supported Employment or Medication Services. This allows clients to make steady progress toward their goals.
