Zero Suicide Initiative

LifeWorks NW participates in Zero Suicide, a nationwide initiative to create communities where individuals, families, their doctors, mental health and addiction providers all work together to end suicide attempts and eliminate the possibility of attempts ending in death. We provide education and support to families and clients, in addition to ongoing screenings.

The most impactful component of the Zero Suicide Initiative is helping clinicians and their families become more open to discussion and aware of the warning signs. The work of LifeWorks NW has already helped reduce completed client suicides ending in death by 29%.
