May 26, 2020

Washington County Oregon

Washington County has a new, short-term COVID-19 supportive counseling program. The COVID Community Counseling Program (CCCP) is a partnership between Washington County, Lifeworks NW, Western Psychological, Asian Health and Service Center, and Lutheran Community Services NW. CCCP provides support to Washington County community members who need mental health help related to the pandemic. Core services include:

  • Supportive counseling with an emphasis on developing coping skills and resilience.
  • Support in understanding personal reactions, planning action steps, and developing solutions to resolve losses and overcome difficulties.
  • Referral and connection to longer-term behavioral health care if needed.

Services are provided at no charge. Linguistically and culturally specific services are also available.

To request an appointment, please email COVIDCounseling@co.washington.or.us or call Washington County Behavioral Health at 503-846-4528.

This is not a crisis line and not a long-term counseling program , and you will not be able to speak with a counselor right away. If you need immediate help, call the Washington County Crisis Line at 503-291-9111. Call 911 for life threatening emergencies.
