For more than 60 years, LifeWorks NW has provided help, hope and recovery with clinics and service centers throughout Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas counties.
We promote a healthy community by providing quality and culturally responsive mental health and addiction services across the lifespan. We envision an inclusive world where stigma fades and all people can lead healthy and meaningful lives.

How can we help?
Child & family
Provides therapy, mental health assessments and treatment planning, medication management, sills training and consultation. Community-based services may also be provided as needed.
Locations: Hillsboro-Walnut St., Beaverton, Milwaukie, Rockwood, NE Portland-MLK
Provides mental health assessment and treatment to children 2 to 7 years old and their families. The program involves weekly sessions and in-home practice. Services available in Spanish.
Locations: Rockwood, Project Network
Provides mental health treatment and education for youth ages 11 to 18 who are experiencing serious psychiatric difficulties. Participation requires school district authorization or referral by local Coordinated Care Organization or Kaiser Permanente.
Location: Tigard
Provides intensive treatment services conducted in the home and/or community for youth and their families. Multnomah County: ages 3 to 18. Participations must meet eligibility requirements and have approval by the Coordinated Care Organization.
Location: NE Portland-MLK
Provides alcohol and drug outpatient services for youth ages 12 to 18 and their families. Services are available in the community.
Locations: Hillsboro-Walnut St., Beaverton, Rockwood, NE Portland-MLK, Milwaukie
Provides culturally responsive alcohol and drug treatment for adolescent African American youth 12 to 18 years of age. The program includes outpatient, community-based treatment and mentoring. Family and mental health services are included.
Location: NE Portland-MLK
Young adult
Provides individual and family support, education, advocacy, and treatment to persons aged 12 to 24 who are experiencing emerging symptoms of psychosis. The program also has a robust family component, including multi-family groups. EASA services individuals who are publicly or privately insured or who have no insurance.
Locations: Beaverton, Milwaukie
Serves clients between ages 16 to 24 with severe mental illness. Focus of treatment is client-centered and strengths-based. Treatment services include individual/group skills training, supported employment/education, supported housing, life skills, and psychiatric treatment.
Locations: Community-based in Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington counties.
Connects 14- to 25-year-olds to services that support wellbeing and independence. Services include peer support, case management, outreach, and engagement.
Locations: Community-based in Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington counties.
A collaborative effort between LifeWorks NW, OHSU, and CareOregon. Our goal is to help young people, 18 and younger, with immediate mental health needs.

Adult
Provides outpatient and intensive outpatient services for adults with drug and/or alcohol addiction.
Locations: Hillsboro-Walnut St., Beaverton, Rockwood, Milwaukie, Ne Portland
Provides bilingual, culturally specific outpatient and intensive outpatient services for Latino adults with drug and/or alcohol addiction.
Location: Hillsboro-Walnut St.
Provides intensive outpatient substance use disorder treatment to adults involved or at risk for involvement with DHS Child Welfare, including mental health and parenting. On-site childcare is available.

Provides free, individualized treatment for individuals with a gambling addiction and their families.

Provides counseling services tailored to a wide range of needs through individual and group therapy.

Prevention programs
Provides mental health consultation in the Washington County area Head Start and Early Head Start classrooms
Location: Washington County
Connects families to community resources while offering individual parenting strategies and parenting classes. The program offers in-home services to Latino families with services from prenatal to children 12 years old.
Location: Hillsboro-Main St., Beaverton
A long-term home visiting program for parents, provides parent education and child development services. Families can enroll anytime throughout pregnancy up until the child is 3 months old. Services available until the child turns 3 years old.
Location: Hillsboro Main St., Tigard, St. Johns
Provides child abuse and neglect prevention services that keep children safe and families strong. Services include therapeutic classrooms, respite child care, home visits and parenting skills training, resources and case management. Prenatal to 5 years old.
Locations: Hillsboro-Main St., St John's, Gladstone
A home visiting program that provides parent education, advocacy, and connection to community resources. Participation in the program is dependent on the client being a TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) recipient.
Locations: Home-based in Multnomah County and Washington County
A voluntary program for families who have had a report made to Child Protective Services or are in need of additional supports. This home visiting program provides parent education, advocacy, and connection to community resources.
Location: Community-based in Multnomah County
Specialty programs
Provides residential substance abuse services for women who are pregnancy or have children 9 years old or younger.
Substance use disorder, residential treatment, with a focus on serving African-American women and women who are pregnant and/or have children under 6 years old.
An intensive adult rehabilitation program that services people with severe and persistent mental illness. ACT promotes health and wellbeing by providing community-based resources and support so individuals can avoid the barriers found in traditional, office-based treatment to ultimately develop the skills needed to live independently.
Location: Beaverton
Provides individualized wraparound rehabilitative behavioral health services to individuals living in APD-licensed community settings. People services in ECOS must meet specific Enhance Care eligibility.
Location: Beaverton
Provides outpatient dual-diagnosis treatment services to adults experiencing intimate partner violence. Services offered include group and individual counseling.
Location: The Gateway Center
Dual diagnosis evaluators conduct evaluations for individuals involved with the Department of Community Justice (DCJ). Evaluators work collaboratively with clients and the probation officer seeking the evaluation to determine appropirate treatment recommendations while considering community safety.
