2019 Something to Talk About Fundraising Breakfast

Our annual fundraising breakfast brings together people interested in reducing stigma and raising voices for mental health and addiction services. We know there are deep connections between physical and mental health — and that a person’s whole wellbeing depends on good health in mind, body and spirit. At the breakfast we talk about what the needs are, how we’ve helped and what more there is yet to do.

WHEN: Thursday, April 18, 2019 — 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.

WHERE: Oregon Zoo – Cascade Crest Ballroom

2018 Something to Talk About Breakfast

Our 2018 fundraising breakfast took place Thursday, April 19 at the Oregon Zoo. Nearly 400 LifeWorks NW friends came together to hear about our work and our continuing quest to raise voices in support of mental wellbeing for all.

As a result, the generosity of our guests raised more than $200,000 to support our efforts to give compassionate care to those struggling with mental illness and addiction.

Thanks go to Mike Schwab, Development director; his team Ashley Amato, Karen Warr and Cheri Krebs; and all the employee volunteers and other staff who pitched in to make it such a great event.

Most important, we are proud to walk alongside those individuals who bravely step forward to allow us to help them.
