Next Steps

We understand the feelings of uncertainty that comes with asking for help with an addiction or mental health concern. That’s why we strive to make the experience as positive and supportive as possible. Our mission is to provide the community with the tools and resources necessary to live healthier and more productive lives. We’re committed to making each journey as comfortable as possible every step of the way, and we do so while maintaining privacy and respecting confidentiality.

Working with Lifeworks NW

While LifeWorks NW clients have the right to stop participating at any time, the plan is designed to last as long as necessary to help meet their specific needs. Family and friends are encouraged to participate when possible to support their loved one throughout the plan. Our first step with a new client is to meet and conduct a thorough assessment. Our counselors work with the child, teen or adult to develop an individualized plan—building on existing strengths and addressing specific needs—often incorporating both individual and group therapies.

During the course of care, LifeWorks NW counselors and the client together evaluate progress. When the person is ready to continue making positive progress and contribute to a healthy community independently, a strategy is outlined to transition out of our services.
