Support and Education – Families

For parents and families with school age children (elementary through high school) struggling with problem behaviors, we offer community and in-home parent education and training classes.

Support and Education – Young Parents

Supporting the healthy family development of young parents and parents-to-be, many who are teens, our New Parent Network provides basic parenting skills education, and social support groups to help reduce isolation.

Tobacco Prevention and Education for African Americans

LifeWorks NW provides tobacco education and addiction prevention services tailored to the particular needs of the African American community.

Additional Help

LifeWorks NW also provides additional prevention services for children, teens and families. These include transition support for at-risk middle schoolers, programs that get parents involved in schools and after-school programs in low-income housing communities. Participation in these programs is arranged through the appropriate government agency or school.
