For African Americans dealing with substance abuse issues, we offer outpatient treatment programs that fit their values and cultural backgrounds.
Our caring and culturally responsive programs offer treatment and case management in a residential setting for substance-abusing pregnant and parenting women and their children. In fact, one of our residential homes is designed to meet the specific needs of African American mothers.
Focusing on the unique needs of women during the addiction and recovery process, our intensive outpatient programs support women by giving special attention to abuse, relationship and parenting issues while also providing childcare.
LifeWorks NW provides counseling for adults required to receive treatment as part of a DUII violation.
For problem gamblers and their families, we offer outpatient treatment programs, including a thorough assessment and crisis response.
For African American problem gamblers and their families, LifeWorks NW offers culturally responsive outpatient treatment programs, including a thorough assessment and crisis response.
For adults facing both addiction and serious mental health issues, our thorough and specialized dual diagnosis programs treat both problems together, focusing on relapse prevention, mental health therapy and medication management.
LifeWorks NW also provides additional addiction services for adults in partnership with government agencies, including mentoring programs for those in recovery, and treatment in a variety of criminal justice settings. Participation in these programs is arranged through the appropriate government agency.
